Sicily

My first trip to Sicily.  It is a place that I have long wanted to visit.  Chose faite.​

Twelve days.  Landed in Catania, where I spent two nights.  Then Siracusa, Agrigento and the Valley of the temples, which was the real motivation behind the trip, something of a bucket-list item.  Palermo I visited as a bit of an after-thought.  Then to Acireale, which was chosen at random as being convenient to the airport and not too far from Taormina, to which I went on a day trip and visited the Greco-Roman theatre there, had lunch, and then headed back to Acireale.
