Ireland

A 9-day getaway to Ireland for Fanfan and myself.

Took the ferry from Roscoff to Cork, drove up to Athenry, where spent a few days, visiting Galway city and Connemara.

Then drove over to Dublin, where we stayed 4 nights.  We visited the city, took a trip out to Howth for lunch, and visited Newgrange on All Souls' Day.

The original plan had been to sail back to France from Cork, but we changed our tickets to Irish Ferries (smart move, by the way) and sailed home directly from Dublin to Cherbourg.
