Cabourg

Less of a project and more of a series.  The company I was working for at the time held its kick-off at a hotel-spa in Cabourg, which is in the Calvados department in Normandy.  One evening I went out onto the beach with my camera and took a few shots.  The tide was out and the sun was low, creating good conditions for shooting.

Having grown up in "The Cradle of the Trotter", Goshen, NY, I was pleasantly surprised to see sulkies on the beach.  This intrusion of an image from my childhood gave the entire experience an almost dream-like quality for me.
