Photography took a back seat during much of this period to more pressing issues like raising a family and paying rent.
We lived in France from 1991 to 2000, spent a year in Ireland, then 3 years in England. In 2005, after a year back in France, we moved to Germany, near Frankfurt, where we spent another 3 years. In 2008, we moved back to France and back to Vannes in Brittany, where we remain to this day.
During this time, analog photography was on the way out and digital was becoming more accessible with each passing year.
Our first digital camera was a Kodak point-and-shoot model that took surprisingly decent photos. I bought my first DSLR in 2006, a Pentax K110D, and upgraded to a Nikon D5200 in 2014.
